Supplies: 6" white 3mm pipe cleaner This photo can be saved to your hard drive by right clicking and choosing "save picture as". You can then print the picture and cut the peices out to use as a template. Or, I've made it easier for you just click print below. But, be warned, this will print the entire page.

~Instructions~ Cut the white pipe cleaner in half so that each peice is 3 inches. And then cut one of the 3 inch peices in half again. Cut out foam using the peices as a guide. This page can be printed for making a template. You will need one main peice and bat, and two of each candy and candy corn peice. Using a sheet of plastic wrap over your work surface will help keep the glue from making a mess. Roll up the 3" peice of white pipe cleaner in the shape of a triangle to fit on top of the candy corn peice and then glue the smaller dark orange triangle shaped peice on top of the light orange piece, using the picture as a guide. Glue the dark orange circle on top of the light orange candy peice and decorate with the two short peices of white pipe cleaner and puff paint as shown. Glue the front candy and candy corn peices in place, leaving the bottom flat. Glue the bat to the center of the main peice and then print "trick or treat" with the puff paint. Bend the black pipe cleaner into the handle and glue to the back of the main peice, laying the main peice on top of the handle face up to dry. When dry, glue the back candy and candy corn peices in place to make this decoration stand up. Make sure that the bottom is flat and will stand up before drying flat. |
