Directions:
Dissolve yeast and a 1/2 teaspoon sugar in warm water and set aside. In a sauce pan combine 3 tablespoons oil, dried minced onion, basil, oregano, sage and garlic powder and cook over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in cold water. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and remaining sugar. Stir in the contents of the sauce pan and the yeast mixture. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 3 minutes. Place dough into a greased 15 x 10 inch baking pan. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Pat dough evenly into the pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over dough. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until browned. Cut into strips and serve warm. |
