Directions:
Dredge the roast in flour and pepper and then brown on a medium high heat in a skillet on all sides. Then pour the three cups of water in a roasting pan and add the roast. Roast for 15 minutes per pound at 350°F. Measure to make sure you have at least 5 cups of broth. If not, use one beef bouillon cube with one cup of water and add this to a large crock pot. Slice the meat and add to the crock pot with the seasonings and cook beef until tender. |
