Jack Daniel'sOld No. 7

Pam's Kick Ass JD BBQ Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened, at least 5 minutes, but I let it simmer longer to make it VERY thick. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 TBSP Worsch sauce
1/4 C. Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. cajun seas
Tabasco to taste
minced garlic and onion
This sauce is great ! Cook ribs, chicken or pork until almost done with a dry rub (recipe below) if you wish and then brush on the sauce and grill for 5 minutes a side.

Dry Rub Ingredients:

1/4 cup paprika
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cajun seasoning (or more to taste)
1 tablespoon dried lemon peel (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a jar with a lid. Close lid and shake to blend spices. Rub this savory blend of seasonings into meat, poultry or fish before grilling. Makes 1 Cup. Double or triple the recipe so you can always have some handy in the cupboard.

Peppery Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup (4 ounces) crumbled blue cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
1 tablespoon Tabasco® pepper sauce, or to taste
pinch of black pepper

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Blend well. Refrigerate. Serve with hot french fries, fresh veggies, salad or HOT WINGS! Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
