Eggnog Pie

Eggnog Pie

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups eggnog
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 (9 inch) ready made pie crusts or one deep dish pie crust
nutmeg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425°F. Pre-bake pie crusts for 5-7 minutes if using fresh or refrigerated pie crust dough. Then reduce oven temp to 350°F.
If using ready made crusts, preheat oven to 350°F. Combine eggnog, sugar and eggs until smooth and pour into crusts. Sprinkle with nutmeg and then bake for 30-40 minutes until almost set. Cover the edges of the pie crust midway through baking if it starts to look too brown. Cool and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
