Blackhead is a popular fishing spot, provided you don't mind a walk of about a mile from the main car park along the Blackhead Path. Whitehead is also well served with trains, so for a really relaxing day's fishing, take the train to Whitehead and walk the mile and a half to Blackhead.
The main fishing spot is just below Blackhead Lighthouse.
