"When I was a Kid, my mom used to call me 'Pogi'. But I couldn't pronounce it. Instead I kept on saying 'Cogie'. So the name stuck. Buti na din. Imagine if my name was 'Pogi'.
WHAT STUFF DO YOU ENJOY DOING?
"I play basketball. I collect shoes. I also jam with my band. Mahilig din ako mag-compose. That's actually how our band started. Our band plays alternative [music] so people can relate more. One time, we played for the benefit of the Ozone victims. It was really great because we got to play with other bands we idolize, like the Eraseheads and Razorback."

WHAT WAS THE MOST UNEXPECTED THING THAT HAPPENED TO YOU SINCE YOU JOINED SHOWBIZ?
"There's this segment in SOP wherein we pick out girls from the audience and sing to them. In the end, we draw lots to see who goes out with her. The first time I got chosen, I was so surprised because I never imagined myself doing it. I even found it funny before. Now, I'm actually doing it. But it's okay because I'm so used to it. I've been on a date five times already."

"Aga Muhlach, because I like his image. And Nicholas Cage."
WHO ARE YOU CRUSHING ON RIGHT NOW?
"Jennifer Love Hewitt and Joyce Jimenez. Pero hindi naman yung patay-na-patay na crush."

"Her smile, especially if she has dimples. I find that really cute. I also like it when girls tie their hair up."

"I like a girl who's sweet and understanding. I like someone I can have a good conversation with. Nagka-girlfriend ka pa kung hindi naman kayo nag-uusap. It's not just about being sweet to each other."
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN SOMEONE, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
"Simple lang ako. If I see someone I like, I want to be friends with her first so I'll know if she's okay. If she's okay, I'll probably court her. I'd give her my compositions. I'd probably send her a text message saying 'Always take care and text me anytime you need anything."

"One time, I took this girl out on a date. We ate and talked a lot. I knew I made her happy that night. Basta sweet yon para sa akin."

"That date on SOP. Since it was my first time to go on a date with someone from the audience, I didn't know what to do! We were on a date but we weren't talking to each other. Pag nag-serve yung waiter, wala, kakain lang kami."
