The morning of Saturday, October 30th came to early. Barb and I were
to meet the "gang" at the trail head on Kalanianaole Highway at
9:00am. We, living in Wai`anae arose at 6:00am. Got ready, ran the
dogs and managed to get going at 7:35 after stoping at 7-11 to buy
breakfast and lunch. At 8:50 we stopped at Sandy Beach to use the
restrooms and amazingly we arrived at the trail head at exactly 9am.
Our friends were already there waiting under the "shade" of a smal
kiawe tree. Below is a map of the area.
