As we gained altitude, a good portion of the south shore became visiable. I believe this is what is called "Queens Beach".

Bishop Estate wants to do something with it. Ideas have ranged from Resort to Residentual to a Golf Course. Wow, look at the old Hawaiian fish pond and other little bays.

The trail continues up, but its not really hard walking. What it is , is hot walking.
