After passing the Pump House the trail climbs to the crest of a ridge. To reach the summit just follow the crest of the ridge.

Most of the trail to the summit is in the shade of Christmas Berry trees.

This is one of the first views of the windward side that can be seen from the trail. My GPS said 1135 feet, it was 10:30 a.m.
