It took a lot of Prayers to get to this show at first. I needed to find a ride which I did thankfully. Thanks Tabby.
Then she introduced me to Gabrielle who had two tickets at the time and I was working on getting mine. Which just my luck my only Ticketmaster location closed on me. She had enough money to get one online .
I was buying my ticket and my rides. However the person who had Gabrielle's
second ticket gave it away on her so we needed to find a third. So we looked and looked.
Then I saw a post that said that Itzmel had an extra ticket so I e-mailed her immediately. She told me to call her then to tell her for sure if I need it. But at the time I didn't have long distance. Thank goodness both Tabby and Gabrielle was on I told them both and stuff . Tabby called and thank you Itzmel.
We all had tickets now lol then she thought something was wrong with her van so she had it checked out but it was fine thank goodness.
Tabby and Gabrielle came from Ohio. They came to pick me up early Tuesday morning like around 3:30am to 4:00am. I got my camping gear, Got in the car then I introduced myself. They both seemed really cool.
We left and on our way there we stopped at a few gas stations and we went through a drive-thru at McDonald's for breakfast and we didn't get lost.
We arrived at the House of Blues in Chicago,Illinois around 8:00am the day of the show. We payed to park her van but the guy ended up giving most of the money back. So we got our stuff out of the van and went to line up.
When we got up there we met a lot of cool fans and we got some pictures as well.
We went in the hotel across from the venue to use the restroom. lol we used the Restroom so much at one time it ran out of toilet paper.
I was laughing and joking with Tabby about Hanson staying at the House of Blues Hotel. I didn't know for sure at the but I was right and thought it was cool. Isaac entered the hotel and went to the Coffee shop everyone tried to go in. However the security guards stopped them which was the best for Isaac and all good.
The HBO security started putting rails up. Then they started telling us about the Pass the Line thing, it was a totally rip off and Lie.
We met some cool fans at a table in the hotel. We stayed for a little bit and talked. After they left we stayed for a little more but we got kicked out lol. So we went back to the Pass the Line thing.
I had to go to the restroom and when I went back out there was a lot of commotion so I stayed there and talked to some fans.
Then Hanson came out to do a sound check and a camera guy started following them. This was when I leaned forward with Isaac's gifts and he leaned forward to take them, I know he smiled but I can't remember if he said Thank you lol. I missed Zac.
However I said "Hey Taylor I have a gift for you." he stopped and turned around and I know he smiled but I am sure he said thank you. "I said I have one for Zac as well: He said he would give it to him for me" I thanked him. Then I moved away so they could do what they needed to:)
Then I went back to the pass the line thing and told Tabby she said "oh cool" and I told her "If I had a cell phone I would of called her. She gave me hers so I went back and i stood where there was this littler barrier but I was standing in front of it and Zac walked back out to go to the Hotel for some reason so I tried to call Tabby but I didn't get an answer .So after Zac came back out to go back in I went back to the pass the line thing and I told Tabby "I tried to call you when Zac came back out but I couldn't get an answer." Gabrielle had her ringer off and said "They were having an important conversation." So, "I said sorry I didn't know" and handed her phone back.
A little bit around 4:30pm they had us stand up but we didn't get in until like 7:30pm.
We got in, they had picked some guy fans to go up front to even out the crowd for the DVD. The fans were pushing as suspected. I think I was either in the 4th or 5th row in front of Isaac.
When "Strong Enough to Break" was being performed, I looked at Tabby she didn't look right. So I asked the people around her, "If she was ok" but nobody would answer. So I looked at her again and she didn't look to good so I grabbed her and tried to be polite to get her through the crowd, but nobody would move so I had to push my way through.
She also has bad ankles. I got her through the heavy crowd but she couldn't go any farther so some fan gave up the stool she was sitting on and I had her sit there and I thought she would be ok.
Then I went back to the concert. I was right next to the hanging camera. In front of Isaac again lol. I had more room and could get into the songs.
During the show Isaac messed up on "Rock `N` Roll Razorblade". They were having guitar problems. I think it was here Zac was helping Taylor with his guitar during "Penny and Me". Then later Isaac messed up on "Mmmbop" twice. The first time the crowd started singing "Happy Birthday" to Isaac and the second time Zac had the crowd sing the "National Anthem" Lol I sang it.
When they re-recorded "Penny and Me" at the end of the show, Isaac took his jacket off. Taylor said "He's stripping for you lol." Then Isaac started humming his own stripping song..
You could feel the floor vibrating during the show. Where I was standing I had the perfect view of Isaac and seeing the emotion in his face with the songs. That was a wonderful experience.
They went off the stage once and we all started shouting "Hanson, Hanson." They came back out and did the encore acapella then left the stage again. Everyone thought they were done so they were leaving. However they came back out to rerecord a few songs and I got up closer lol. I had the perfect view of all three I was still in front of Isaac lol it was cool.
It's was an amazing show not too much pushing or talking.

~After the show was actually over I went to look for Tabby. She was in the hallway . I found out that she passed out and got sick . Some fan had her elbow wedged in her chest. Someone told her is she was in there five more minutes she would have died. She ended up missing the rest of the show. I started crying, hugged her and said "I was sorry." I felt bad because I promised her I would help her meet a Hanson. However when Hanson came out, I was no where near her, thank you Gabrielle for helping her meet Isaac. Also thanks to the fan who gave her food.
Everyone made their way out to where we were standing by the Hotel, waiting for Hanson. They started saying "You have to be 18 to be on the hotel property," all three of us were. Then they said "You have to have a room," so we went over to the club side and they said "You have to be at least 21." I was the only one, then we went back over to the Hotel and stood.
Then the security told all the fans "That if they didn't have a room they were to leave or they were gonna call the cops," we left. Then we came back.
So we stayed, my camera was in Tabby's car across the street. All of a sudden they come out and I made my way to Zac, I was standing arm to arm with Taylor but I just went to Zac. All I had was my Michigan street team id that I just got, Thanks JJ.
I waited and thanked him for the show and asked him if I could get and autograph. He said,
"Sure," so he signed the plastic of the id. So I thanked him and moved I was afraid that it would come off so I took the paper out and had him sign that. Then I saw another fan ask him for a hug so I said what the heck and asked him for one. He said, "Sure" he gave me one I thanked him and asked him a question. He said "Sorry he didn't know what I was talking about." I thanked him. Let me just say his hug isn't has bad as some make it out to be it's tight but gentle.
Then I went to find Tabby and Gabrielle, they had followed him in the hotel. So I caught up with them. We were trying to get a picture with him especially for Tabby since she missed the show. However the security guard said, "Only one more picture," needless to say we didn't get it lol. But Zac said, "Wave bye to us all," and Tabby told him what happened while he was going in the elevator. He waved and said, "Sorry."
We left and we stayed at a persons house who we thought was really close, it happened to be 3 hours in the opposite direction then we suspected. We thought, when she said the train she was meaning the subway thing, I think thats what it's called. We also had to drop off a friend of hers then go to the train station to get her car.
But it wasn't it made us all mad because she didn't know where she was going. And Tabby and Gabrielle were really tired. She wanted Tabby to keep driving but she couldn't because she was to tired. So she took over the wheel to get to the station to get her car. Then Tabby had to follow her to her house.
I got home Wednesday afternoon. I had an amazing time. On our way back we ended up stopping at the same McDonald's. Thank you Hanson once again for the wonderful and magical performance. Thank you Tabby for taking me and thank you Gabrielle for the help, thanks Mel for having an extra ticket. Thank you Hanson for taking the time for the fans to stop and chat some.
