(All Pictures are 1024 x 768 format)---- Our backyard is our new favorite "Little-Get-Away". The project(s) got under way in September 2002 when we signed the contract for the 4-Seasons room addition with a local builder. We had designed the entire project; the sunroom, the deck and the pool on our computer using a Cad program optimized for this use.  Our builder was impressed and he used the plans, both blueprints and 3d renderings, to acquire the permits. He also gave them to the material supplier to create a bill of materials.  The final pieces of our project (Autumn of 2005) will be a Pool Cabana building at the base of the deck's South staircase (shown under the "Deck Pictures" link) for entertaining, changing, rest room; and then continuing the decking around the remainder of the swimming pool.

Skylights add to the abundant sunlight that always fills the room. Even on a cloudy day, it's the brightest room in the house!

Our "Harman" Pellet Stove warms the room and the rest of the house all Winter. We turned our furnace off December 12th last year after we realized it hadn't been running for a week or so... it hasn't been on since.

Please visit our PelleDuster site at:  www.pelleduster.com for information on bringing clean dust-free corn and pellets into your home...

The stove works just like our furnace in that it senses the room temperature, automatically loads the burn pot with pellets, ignites the fire and then controls the flame, combustion blower, exhaust blower and room circulation blower. Once the sun has warmed the room, the stove shuts down, only to start up again when the sun sets. It took our 2200 sq. ft. house through a cold Wisconsin Winter this year. I am amazed at the efficiency of the Stove. Questions or comments? Use the E-mail link below...
