[Updates in green]

There's a new theory of mine afoot, and I would like to call it my The Curse of Marilyn Theory. Or just The Curse of Marilyn because it might roll off the tongue slightly more smoothly. Either one.

Anyway, whichever your preference is, it goes something like this: Every time Marilyn Sudor gets asked on a date, two people must be fired.

The evidence. Back in season '00-'01 (and I say that like we've had so many seasons), Coach Kevin Riley (we all remember him, don't we?) unfortunately asked Marilyn out after this big mix-up that is irrelevant to my point. Soonafter, Milton Buttle's affair-ish thing with Lisa Grier was discovered, and he was fired. Being a good friend, or someting, Kevin came forth saying that the two had been having the affair for quite some time now, but it was true love. Kevin must think that this is supposed to get Milton out of trouble somehow. Scott has other plans, though. He does what he does best. That is - he fires Kevin.

To sum all that up in one easy to use sentence, Marilyn gets asked out, and Mitlon and Kevin are fired.

Last episode (episode 38), Danny asks Marilyn out. Consequently, later that episode Meredith Peters is fired. And, of course, in this here episode, The Curse chose Dr. Benjamin Harris as its victim number two. By the end of the episode, Ben has chosen to resign, and as he leaves the school, we hear a strange cackling from inside the walls...

So you know what this means! We get to blame Marilyn again for bringing on bad plotlines [g]! Really, though, I have nothing against Marilyn. It's just that when, resemblenses aside, I turn into a sniffing dog, all problems seem to lead back to her [g].

Right. Now acutally about the episode. Even I saw the "he has no brother" thing coming! And that says something! So Ronnie's like, turning into Harry or something. Why doesn't she have any other friends at this school? Danny seemed to make friends just fine. After all, *he* got invited to a little special meeting with only those teachers that truely connect with the students. But Marilyn's not there. Wow, this episode was just prime for picking on Marilyn!
