Scott: Why are you fighting me on this, Steven?
Steven: Because you're talking about going into a lockdown and that's ridiculous! Listen to me now, Scott. The students are going to have too much fun with this: The Vice-Principal on a mad quest to locate his lover's hook.
Scott: Everybody on your feet at once! Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit! Sit, sit, sit, sit! Sit, sit, sit! Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit! [Motions for a student to stand back up]. You are my suspects. You are the ones with disciplinary or behavioral records. I got it down to seven in thirty seconds. I'll have it down to one by the end of the day.
Scott [to Ronnie when she attacks his policies. About his duties as assistant principal]: Another perk is I get to strut unimpeded through corridors. That particular joy is being denied to me right now by a first year inexperienced teacher!
Scott: You have picked such a wrong day to get in my face!
Ronnie: No! You picked the day when you sent the Gestapo into the- [Harry, walking by, grabs Ronnie by the elbow and pulls her away] Hey!
Harry: Here's a thing to know about Scott Guber: [clears throat] Nine days out of ten you can speak your mind - he'll even enjoy the contention. Today's the tenth day.
Ronnie: Do you know what he did?!
Harry: I do. But wait 'til tomorrow to take his head off. Today it'll be yours.
Ronnie [Barging into office where Steven and Scott are talking]: Could I speak to you both for a second?
Steven: Would you like to wait for an answer?
Debbie: It's a good drug if you're quiet or shy...not that I am!
Marilyn [stops singing]: Flat!
Marla: Not me!
Louisa: Don't look at me.
Marilyn: One of you is flat.
Louisa: Well maybe it's you.
Marilyn: No, I'm never flat!
Scott: Well if you did-
Student: I didn't!
Scott: -and if you compound your offense with a lie, you will not only be suspended - I will personally report you to the police.
Student: Trace-metal my hand if you don't believe me!
Scott: You confess now, you get off the suspension.
Student: Promise?
Scott: You have my word.
Student: In that case...I didn't do it!
Jeremy: We come here tonight to celebrate my mother's hand. To rejoice in its life as we mourn its passing. I've, uh, held my mother's hand, of course, many times, while it was still attached to her.
