But we must stand firm and persevere in the faith till we get our victory! Jesus knows the pain we feel, He walked the earth just like us. He can save and He can heal, we have to believe that. That is what our life and our hope of salvation is based on, the fact that we know that He CAN save us. He can heal us from any sickness that we could ever encounter and He can heal our broken hearts. God is our Heavenly Father, and just like our earthly father it would cause him pain to see us have to go through anything. In the same way God does not want us to lose our salvation. Think about it, it seems that He would do anything to keep us from the lake of fire. First off, He sent his son to the cross to bear our death penalty. And now he allows trials and temptations to come into our lives. Our trials come to only make us strong. If we stand firm in our faith in Christ through this trial we will be that much stronger to bear the next one. But we cannot forget that we can do nothing ourselves, but only with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that we are nothing without our Lord Jesus Christ. Just think of how many people should consider themselves nothing on this earth today. But praise the living God that we can count ourselves of worth because of what our Lord did for us on the cross. And He still yearns for our repentance and turning to Him for every single need and prayer that we have. In the times that we feel so far from Him, He is right next to us, waiting for us to turn back to Him. He is never more that a prayer away. 1Peter 4:12-19, Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are sufferCHNKWKS :јџџџџTEXTTEXT†,FDPPFDPP0FDPCFDPC2STSHSTSH4STSHSTSH42SYIDSYIDP4SGP SGP d4INK INK h4BTEPPLC l4BTECPLC „4FONTFONTœ4<STRSPLC и4:PRNTWNPR5eFRAMFRAMw8ˆTITLTITLџ8DOP DOP 9y! Jesus knows the pain we feel, He walked the e Trials Make us Strong (James 1:2-4) Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. We may ask ourselves how are we supposed to consider it pure joy when we face trials? We have to break it down into bite sized pieces to be able to understand it. First off, we all yearn for a Christ-like spirit and attitude. But none of us can bear what it takes to get there. The trials just seem to be getting too hard and our faith growing too dim. The trial we face are a testing of your faith . And what better way to be sure our faith is strong than by having it tested? And when tested it brings with it perseverance, and perseverance will complete us so that we lack nothing. Imagine that, us, lacking nothing! (1Peter 1:6-9) In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. Jesus knows the trials and heartaches we face, He has been here too! He says that our faith is worth far more than gold! And think of it, we have not seen God but we love Him and believe in Him. We have faith in God, but the devil will fight us when we are in a crunch . When we are battling or praying for victory ing, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? So then, those who suffer according to God s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. That is proof enough that when we go through trials in our life, no matter what they be, we are told to realize that we, as Christians, are supposed to expect them. And imagine this, consider it pure joy . That is hard to imagine, but that is what the Bible instructs us to do. More understandably said, Don t hate on God for the trials that you are going through, it is your life that He is desperately trying to help. He wants you to repent and turn your whole life over to Him. Expect that kind of trial because Christ had it and you are participating in the suffering of Christ, and oh, the joy that awaits us if we respond to these trials in a right way! Joy beyond compare one verse says. That sounds pretty good to me! The worst thing we could do is blame God for our problems or trials. Sure, He allows them to happen to us, but it is because we need it. We are stubborn and will not do what we know we should so we need some big coaxing from the Big Guy! Summed up, we must heed every warning that God is gracious enough to give us. He only cares for us and wants us to change our ways. If we truly love Him and want to please Him, we will do the will of my Father in heaven That s my thoughts Oct.6-03 JF that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
