We enjoy TV’s Sumo program very much, or rather we subscribed TV Japan for Sumo watching. Therefore, I was very much upset and angry to the station, which cut off the Sumo program with no notice.  It ignored the series televise for 3 nights with no explanation, following the NY terrorist incidents.   The announcement came after 10 days that the station, 2 blocks away from the disaster area was closed, and the  satellite transmitter from Japan was out of operation. This was the closest direct clue of the damage for me living in the West.

Kotomitsuki obtained the Championship Cup for the 15 days fall series with 13 win and 2 losses.  His right arm has been extremely fast to get off the opponent’s guard.  His legs are strong and steady carrying his upper body and arms.  Outside the Dohyo---encircled stage--- he always smile, and his white teeth are cute. All the commentators agree that Kotomitsuke is one of the hardest worker and is focused.
