2 X 8 oz. shapr cheddar -- grated fine
1 small onion -- chopped fine
1 cup pecans -- chopped fine
2/3 cup -- Mayo
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Bonnie put this in a ring mold and served it with raspberry jam in the center.
Editor's note: We had this at Christmas dinner, 2001, at Bonnie & Tom's house in Spearfish Canyon. It was delicious, but we all had very . . . powerful breath for a while. However, chocolate is a known cure for garlic/onion breath, so be sure to serve this fine hors d'ouevre with plenty of bonbons.
