Certified Critical

Brought to you by She's Lise, one of my oldest and most amazing friends. Let me give you an idea of what the 21st-century woman looks like.

Despite this being a fairly chaotic time in her life, Lise just passed her CCRN exam and is now a Certified Critical Care R.N. Months of intense study and review courses paid off; this new certification moves her to the A+ list of nurses at her hospital (she was already on the A list, of course). And nursing is no slack job to begin with.

But that's not all! This woman takes climbing lessons so she can scale the Rockies and packs a mountain bike along so she can coast back down. She's training for a 10K run (that's 6.21371 miles for the metric-impaired), redecorating her house, landscaping her yard and making quilts. Her only handicap is in her golf game, and that's falling fast. What will she do for an encore?

Hats off to you, Lise. YOU ROCK!
