Ah, the joys of technology. Nancy caught sight of a banner ad on a certain Web site recently (um, ours) and observed animated leeches dancing across the page. Startled, she clicked on the ad to learn more. Seems the advertiser was trying to point out the difference between its ultra-modern health-related product and the outdated technology it would replace.
So let's recap:
Old: medical care via leeches
New: the advertiser's offering
Even newer: getting to this new thing via leeches -- e-leeches, but they're
still leeches
Is this what's meant by coming full circle?
