LC New Mexico State Finals
Long Course State Finals was a blast for both the Higgs and the PLancarte's. Jennell Higgs one all races except one tying her for first in Highpoint. Alyssa Higgs managing all her best times at the meet. Damian PLancarte scooping medals placed top 8 in every single race (he competed in 6 races.) Lucio PLancarte placed first in every race breaking 2 state records both the 100m freestyle and the 400m freestyle. Also at the event were teamates of the Kirtland Aquatic Team Douwe Yntema placing in every single race taking second in highpoint he also did best times his brother Hess Yntema also did best times the entire kac team took 4 th out of a lot of teams in NM.
Western Zones
The Western Zone competition is a big meet including all the western states. to go to this meet you need qualifing times which are preety hard to get both Jennell and Alyssa Higgs missed out only by a few seconds.
