The dance was a fantastic success. The decorations made the cafeteria look like a New York plaza with the Twin Towers in the background, thanks to Mrs. Penne Thompson who was the decorator of our dance.
Mr. Sam Bigby was the DJ of our dance. He was very good at knowing when to slow things down and when to speed things up with different songs. One of the songs he played a couple of times was "Yeah" by Usher featuring Lil' Jon and Ludacris.
My friends Buck, Justin, Robert, Laura, Zach, Britney, Alyse, Jessica, Lauren, Bekah, Allison, Lindsay, Katie, and Ryan were there to enjoy the party. The dance was from 7 to 10 PM which was longer than all of the other dances that Northwood Middle had had that year. Kenzi commented, "The dance went by so fast, that I hardly remembered what was happening."

American Flag background the school set up for decorations. She was
wearing her light blue halter top dress. She loved the dance because it
was one of the last days she could hang out with all of her Middle school
friends.
