Healing in a Nutshell
There is a good list of human ailments in Leviticus 26 in the Old Testament. We cannot add to God's list. Check it out. Then check out the cure.
Note: This is not a cure-all for all those of you suffering today. But it is something to think about if you happen to be harboring anything against your brother or sister, mother or father.
Armies are defeating you;
You have burning fears (phobias);
Canibalism;
Your city is ruined;
You have been conquered by your enemies;
Draught;
You're rotting or dying in a foreign land;
Enemies rule you (you feel oppressed);
Enemies are shocked by the destruction of your city (humiliation);
You are exiled;
Your crops fail;
Your eyesight is failing;
Famine;
Your food is rationed by your enemies;
Food doesn't satisfy you;
God turned away so that your enemies defeated you (God left you);
God is hostile toward you;
Life seems to fade away (depression);
No matter how hard you work, you reap nothing;
You have no power to stand before your enemies
Other people reaped what you sowed (unjust world)
A plague has come;
You run, though you are not chased(paranoia);
Your family is scattered;
You suffer from sudden terrors (panic attacks);
You suffer from a wasting disease (AIDS too now);
Wild animals killed your children and/or destroyed your cattle so that your numbers have dwindled away.
The cure? Obedience. Unless you are experiencing a catastrophic event like Job did and God is displaying your faith in Him to His angels and the world. In any case, it is up to you to obey God. There are really only two commands in which the entire bible can be summed up.
Love God and love your neighbor.

Leviticus 26:40-45 = "But at last my people will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me and being hostile toward me. Finally, when I have given full expression to my hostility and have brought them to the land of their enemies, then at last their disobedient hearts will be humbled, and they will pay for their sins. Then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, with Isaac, and with Abraham, and I will remember the land. And the land will enjoy its years of Sabbath rest as it lies deserted. At last the people will receive the due punishment for their sins, for they rejected my regulations and despised my laws. But despite all this, I will not utterly reject or despise them while they are in exile in the land of their enemies. I will not cancel my covenant with them by wiping them out. I, the Lord, am their God. I will remember my ancient covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of Egypt while all the nations watched. I, the Lord, am their God."

1 John 3:21 -24 = "Dear friends, if our conscience is clear, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive whatever we request because we obey Him and do the things that please Him. And this is His commandment: We must believe in the name of His son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. Those who obey God's commandments live in fellowship with Him, and He with them. And we know He lives in us because the Holy Spirit lives in us."
