I am a native of Walhalla, South Carolina. I attended Winthrop University, where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my second year teaching, but I've been part of the Lewisville family since the Fall of 2004 when I completed my student teaching internship in a fourth grade classroom with Mrs. Dianne Hodges.

Within the next few years, I have plans to attain my master's degree in Reading as well as become certified to teach gifted and talented. I'm a member of the South Carolina Geographic Association (SCGA) and a soon-to-be member of the Palmetto State Teacher's Association (PSTA). I am also currently serving on the Activities Committee and the Data Team at LES.

I am the oldest of 6 children. I have 2 sisters (Kala-20 and Alyssa-2) and 3 brothers (Jesse-11, Jacob-8, and Levi-5). My dad and step-mom (as well as most of my family) live in the Golden Corner (Oconee County). My mom and her fiancee' Steve live in Las Vegas, NV. They are planning to get married in October and I am looking forward to the trip!

In my free time, I enjoy shopping, seeing movies, attending musical concerts, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I currently reside in Rock Hill, SC.
