How can you test these graphs to show if they are
or are not functions?
Answer : Use the vertical line test. Draw vertical lines through
the graph. Is there any vertical line that crosses the
graph more than once? If so, it is not a function. If you
can't draw a vertical line through the graph that touches
it more than once, then it is a function.
