Masak Lemak Cili Padi

Bahan-bahan dan caranya:

2 cili padi merah dan 3 cili padi hijau (ditumbuk hancur) [lebih kalau nak pedas...]

kunyit serbuk

air

ayam/daging/ikan/lain-lain...

serai

daun kunyit

garam

gula (kalau perlu)

rebung (kalau ada...)

Bahan-bahan di atas dimasukkan dalam periuk dan dimasak. Apabila ayam sudah masak, masukkan bahan-bahan di bawah:

santan

5 biji limau nipis [lebih kalau nak masam]

This is my Grandma's recipe. She cooks the best masak lemak! Make it as sour as possible when cooking with fish. This dish follows Peranakan Nyonya style.
