as I write whatever it is that needs to be expressed.

I ask for inspiration,
some type of reaction to know that you care.
However, your silence proves to be some indication,
Love was never here nor there.
You care for no one,
Your thoughts and feelings belong to you.
You need not explain, the damage has been done...
and this journey, I no longer wish to pursue.
You were entrusted with a gift,
a gift that only God, the father, could give.
I tried my best to be that miracle, that to your spirits, it would uplift...
But, I guess that was a fantasy that was not meant to be lived.
So, goodbye and farewell,
I won't lie and say it's been cool.
