Yellow Belt

Yellow belt is the first "promotion" in Kenpo. It is the first step (aside from walking into the door) towards bettering yourself in the style of KENPO.

Here is the list of TECHNIQUES required for the rank of YELLOW belt:

1) DELAYED SWORD (RIGHT HAND GRAB OR PUNCH)
2) AGGRESSIVE TWINS (FRONT TWO-HAND PUSH)

4) DEFLECTING HAMMER (RIGHT FRONT THRUST KICK)
5) SPREADING BRANCH (REAR BEAR HUG, ARMS PINNED)
6) THE PINCHER (LEFT FLANK HEADLOCK)
7) CHECKING THE STORM (RIGHT OVERHEAD, THEN ROUNDHOUSE CLUB ATTACK)
