June 19th Auntie Tracy and Lilly gave me my first Baby Einstein dvd's. I love to watch the colors and to listen to the music. My favorite is Baby Dolittle(demo movie). |

June 8th. My Grandma came to visit me. We've met in the hospital before, but we never hugged. I think we'll go to Chincoteague soon for some more lovin' and huggin'

May 31st I have a bouncy seat, I love to sit in it while mama & papa eat dinner, mama is cooking or 'spit shines' the house. Every now and then I even get to watch my Baby Einstein movies from my own chair. |

May 25th I have finally outgrown my first suits..and my mom washed them right!! |

May 17th I have a Jungle Gym Every day I do my excercises so I get to be strong and can crawl faster then ever. I can roll over too. |

22nd April 2003 I now have my own email address !! pwsteffes@yahoo.com I am not able to answer your emails at this point, since I can't do much more then eat and poop, but my mom and dad will keep me posted on what is going on with everybody and I will handle the answering of my mail personally as soon as I can.. |

I have spent this Easter weekend in the intensive care unit at the hospital. On Friday I started spitting up very green sticky stuff and mom and dad took me to the ER. In the hospital I got sicker and sicker, my belly was swollen up and I started pooping blood. Mom and I had to go to the X-ray man and they saw big bubbles in my intestines. The next step was making me swallow some sort of painted food so they could figure out if my intestines were the problem or if I had an infection in my guts. They had to put tubes in my nose and I fought two nurses successfully. By the time the third nurse succeeded, the doctors finally diagnosed me with a Hernia. I had to have an operation on that Sunday morning. Mom and Dad took turns staying with me in the hospital and as I understand it people over the whole world were thinking of me. That was really cool and thank you all for that. After the operation I got better really fast and on Monday we finally went home. Buick was very happy to see me again and Kit-tan said hello too. I only had to take my pain medicine once and I can eat more and more often now. I am now doing splendidly and my scar is very small.
