Dinner:
Warm Veggie Cocktail
In pot combine 1 1/2 cups each spicy tomato juice and carrot juice; heat through
Mini Meal:
1 cup Total raisin bran
1 cup fat-free milk
Day Two
Breakfast:
Frozen Berry Crush
In blender puree 1 cup each assorted berries and calcium-fortified orange juice until smooth
Mini Meal:
1 cup Farina cereal drizzled with 1 Tbs. blackstrap molasses
1 cup fat-free milk
Lunch:
Ginger Beet Juice
In blender puree 3/4 cup each carrot juice and canned sliced beets and 1 tsp. chopped fresh ginger, till smooth
Mini Meal:
5 dried figs
Dinner:
Cantaloupe-Carrot Juice
In blender puree 3/4 cup each cantaloupe cubes and carrot juice and 1/2 tsp. lemon juice till smooth
Mini Meal :
1 med. baked potato topped with 1 cup steamed spinach
3 oz. cooked, cubed chicken and 2 Tbs. sour cream
Day Three
Breakfast:
Pumpkin Pie Shake
In blender puree 3/4 cup each canned pumpkin puree and calcium-fortified orange juice, 1 Tbs. blackstrap molasses, 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice and 3 ice cubes until smooth.
Mini Meal :
1/4 cup almonds and raisins
Lunch:
Cherry-Peach Fizz
In blender puree 3/4 cup each frozen pitted cherries and sliced peaches until smooth. Add 3/4 cup sparkling water or club soda.
Mini Meal :
4 oz lean roast beef on 1 small whole wheat roll with 1/2 tsp. mustard
Dinner:
3 cups onion soup broth
Mini Meal :
1 cup nonfat fruit yogurt with 1 Tbs. toasted wheat germ
