Part of the reason why lately I haven’t been putting much on my blog were the ongoing troubles I had with my brand-new Sony VAIO. From the very day I bought it I went into trouble, the thing hanging, slowly responding and finally fainting, aka total black-out. Initially I thought it was the new Windows Vista softyware, but after I had to bring it back to the repair centre a 4^th time, I was already convinced there must be a Gremlin inside my laptop (Remember that movie from the 80’s ?). I told them that this baby was not gonna leave the repaircentre ever again, at least not in my hands. My demand for return of the purchase sum was not granted, but in all fairness, after my rambling they did compensate me by giving me one of the later models, brand-new of course. It looked promising, though Windows Vista seems to have some inherent Gremlins of its own indeed. But fortunately for me I didn’t end up like this cartoon.
