General Buglas McArthur came to us in 1998, orphaned with two brothers and a sister at the age of two weeks.

At first Tasha seemed to think the baby raccoons would make a great snack, but as time went by she and Bug became the best of pals.

At five months of age the raccoons were released back to the wild. However Bug had other ideas. Ignoring his coon family he refused to leave, preferring to stay with his new family and doggie pals.

Sometimes we wonder if he thinks he's a dog!
