CRUCIO
One of the Unforgivable curses, also know as the Cruciatus Curse. The exact origins of this curse are mostly unknown. It was created centuries ago by a wizard by the name of Crucio; however, no one is certain of his true intentions for devising such a horrible curse as it only has the most nefarious of implications.
Latin: Excrucio - "to torment, torture, cause great pain"
