TARANTALLEGRA
Makes the receiver dance uncontrollably.
Invented in the 15th century by a petite witch named Juniper who lived in the
Italian Countryside. A muggle friend of the witch had been bitten by a tarantula
and began to bounce up and down. Juniper, who thought that the movements were
fascinating, created the spell to liven up her family’s parties. The dance was
so entertaining that it invaded muggle culture as a folk dance of the area.
Italian: tarantella - a folk dance
[Italian] allegro – lively, frisky
