Akaka Falls

These pictures are from Akaka Falls, which is located just north of Hilo. You have to walk
along a nice paved path with lots of steps after driving about 10 minutes off the highway to
get there, but it is completely worth it! By the way, these pictures don't even begin to do
it any justice...enjoy!

This is the main falls at the Akaka Falls State Park. It plunges approx. 400 ft. to the pool below.
