Our first value study.
We were to copy a masterpiece by simplifying it into what the eye perceives at first glance.
(The third one I included just for fun, it's Escher-Bassoon related piece I found somewhere... hehe)

My rendition (right) of a picture I took at Playa Blanca in Costa Rica.
If you squint really hard and stand really far away, the two images look the same.
