Cowboy & Sooner

Announcing HOWDY PODNERS!!!!!!! Y’all come to the exchanging of marriage vows by The Lovely Merry Wright and Hurricane Bill Wicklund on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at 2:00 in the afternoon. The “hitchin” will take place at Robbers Cave State Park, Wilburton, OK, where the bride and groom will speak their vows on horseback. (Appaloosa's, of course). We will be meeting at the C-Spur Trails riding stables at 1:15 pm, for a 7- mile trail ride to Buzzard’s Roost (about 20 minutes). WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU RIDE WITH US. Take a step back in time and discover the secluded trails traveled by the legendary outlaws, Jesse and Frank James, Belle Starr and the Younger Brothers. Imagine the narrow escape of these illustrious characters to the security of Robbers Cave. Clothing is casual, western, boots and jeans. If you want to share the moment with us but can’t ride, the Park Manager, John Barnes, has graciously given us access to the private road to Buzzards Roost. The road is narrow and very bumpy.
