........ Why won't she open up to me? Chris thought as he opened the door to Jesse's room. It had been two weeks since Matt and Jaina had died in that car accident. Jesse had shut herself up in her room; refusing to even look at anyone else since it happened, only coming out once for the funeral.

........"Jesse…?" he asked slowly, stepping carefully into the room. Jesanae turned her head towards his; her once vibrant amber eyes now sunken, bottomless.

........"Go away…" Jesse said quietly, the words almost inaudible. She turned her head again.
........Chris started to get a little frustrated. "Jesanae Tekani, I order you to get your ass out of this room, brightened up, and stop acting like you're dead!"
........Jesse turned back toward Ishida. "How dare you, Chris. Who the hell do you think you are? I lost my husband and you think that by busting in here, you can make me happy? You have no idea what I'm feeling…"
........Chris exploded. "NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE FEELING? JESANAE TEKANI, YOU BITCH! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE FUCK YOU’RE FEELING! I'M FEELING IT TOO! UNLESS YOU'VE FORGOTTEN, I LOST MY WIFE IN THAT FUCKING ACCIDENT!"
........Jesse gasped. Chris turned and ran out of the apartment, blinking back waves of tears.

........Shit! Chris' right. I'm hurting Matt because I'm not living my life right! And I am a bitch for saying that to Chris. It's hurting him so much too because he lost Jaina…
........"Ishida, you baka! Come back, please!"
........Jesse ran out of the house, following Chris.

........Jesse finally caught up with Chris, who was sitting on a park bench. She approached the former gang leader with caution.
........"Chris…"
........Ishida looked up at her with dimmed eyes, the tears finally falling. He cried,
........"Why!? Why did this happen to us, Jesse?"
Can't remember
When I last saw you laugh…
........"I don't know Chris. All I know is that you're right; I'm hurting Yama's memory by being like that. He wouldn't have wanted me being like that. Not at all."

........Jesse sat down next to Ishida and hugged him close, Chris doing the same to her. Then, they let out the sadness and frustration, holding tightly to each other, their tears falling together as they poured their hearts and souls out to their lost loved ones.

........"Chris." Jesse said. "I'm so sorry about saying that about you not knowing what I was going through…"
........"It's okay, Jesse. It's okay. You're upset, same as me."
........Chris then lifted Jesse's chin to look deep into her eyes.
........"I'm not saying that we'll replace Matt and Jaina for each other. But we'll help the other get through this. And who knows? The future might have a bright spot for us after all."
........Christochi Ishida extended his left hand, the one closest to his heart.
........"Deal?"
........And Jesanae Ishida clasped it tightly with her own left hand.

(all stare in shock)
Jesanae-chan: Well…that was certainly morbid enough.

(Chris turns to Davis and puts something into his hand)
Christochi-chan: It's your turn to do the disclaimer. (turns and runs like Hell)
Daisuke-chan: Aw, do I have to?
Christochi-chan: (from down the street with Matt and Jaina chasing him) Kari wants you to do it!
Daisuke-chan: (excited and happy) OK!!!!! (clears throat) Christochi Ishida doesn't own Matt, Izzy, or any other actual Digimon character or concept. He does, however, own himself, Christochi Ishida, Jaina Skye, Zeke Aranda, Theresa Takashi, and Jacen Skye. He now also owns Mocimon. He wished to own Keramon, however Toei already does. Jesanae Tekani is owned by herself. Jennifer Morton is owned by herself. The song "True Colors" is owned by C-chan's all-time favorite song writer and singer, Cyndi Lauper. (Jesse takes a look as the thing in Davis' hand and runs after Chris with murder and bloodshed in her eyes.)
Daisuke-chan: What's that all about? (realizes that he's holding a pair of blue panties with Jesse's name on them) Oh, now I understand. (runs off to find Kari and is promptly beaten to death by Diaboromon, Rob's ExVeemon, and Goddramon)
