Holy crap. I've been gone so long. That awesome internet connection I had? It went away on April 22 of last year -- which, when one notes the last update date to this site, may clue one in as to why I've been away. Granted, some of it was simply having other things eating my brain, but I'm back now in any case. I've done some quick and dirty editing (some links have been removed entirely until I have time to do major overhaul on them; those are few, though), and I'll be back to do more later.

Well. Haven't I been away too long? Ahem. Anyway, I've taken down some of the content that's already up on my sister site, and spruced up a couple of other things. Not much else is different, but that's not new. Hey, I'm happy enough with the site that I'm not in a hurry to change much. I am, however, going to add some new content in the near future -- probably. At least a few new theories.

I'm a little confused as to the poem count, however, because it doesn't match one I have elsewhere; I'll go back and figure it out later, but I might have left one out a while ago. Omigod. A plot bunny actually became a story. It was immediately replaced by another bunny, because I've made the mistake of rewatching YYH with several people who haven't seen it yet, but I'm so proud of me. Expect its posting soon, as well as two other ficlets based on a pentadrabble by Blossomwitch from FFN. W00t, new material for once!

Apparently the background for my Archives page somehow became terminally fucked up, and I have been forced to temporarily wipe it so that I can figure out why it is not working properly. For the moment, the Archives page has been defaulted to a plain black background. This makes me sad, I will tell you, given that I made that background myself (albeit with someone else's fanart [eyedart]) and thought it looked properly nifty; but, then again, it might just be the price involved with using Firefox instead of IE. I love Firefox to death, but it occasionally requires different coding and I don't know how to tinker with it the way I can with IE. So, in other words: Bah. Bah, humbug, I say. In addition to that, I found yet more bad links and made them go away, posted my latest YYH poem, and just generally cleaned up a bunch of minor issues. I've also got more fanfiction to reformat, courtesy of apparently having been vastly lazy earlier and not remembering that I had anything more to do, so expect things to become more uniform and all those annoying dots in the fanfiction to gradually go away. Well, eventually. Yeah. I have internet now, so I have fewer excuses; feel free to remind me of this fact as needed.

Just a quick update drop before I flee to class: I've fixed some more out-of-date information, and will be back for a full site sweep tonight. I'm also seriously, honestly going to finish coding 'The Best Defense' -- I just figure I'll get the coding over with and post the rest en masse rather than attempting to post it piecemeal. Bah. Long time no update. I've fixed a few things to reflect some changes in my plans/situation, et cetera, and more will follow when it is no longer almost two in the morning and I am not at work. I have home internet now (*swoon*) so I should be able to get to it with some measure of alacrity. But you totally don't exist, do you? No one comes here. The site counter tells me so. Le weep.

Hah! The revamped version of the site is up and running now, albeit with some glitches, but I left the content down for far too long anyway (and after I swore it wouldn't happen >.>), so I wanted to get that working for all of you. I've gotten around to putting up actual .mp3's for the chapter theme songs, unlike the crappy .wma's I had before; now that I have iTunes on my computer, I can actually convert files into other filetypes without losing quality. So they're all playable regardless of your computer's music program, and you don't need the updated Windows Media Player anymore. Yay! Site revamp progressing slowly, but I've got most of the fanfiction done; the rest should follow at a reasonable pace.

Phew. Things are more complicated, and therefore taking longer, than I anticipated. I've discovered the most handy html tag ever and now I can indent paragraphs without those beyond-annoying little dots, so my fanfiction has been revamped to reflect that. Once I've got time all the rest will be, as well. My own has also all been slaved to a single color scheme, and I think I may give each author their own. Or not; it depends on how adventurous I'm feeling. Once I get the main chunk of the site -- the collective fanfiction -- all posted and ready, I'll officially open the actual, functional portion to the public. The rest of the miscellaneous junk I've got to move and organize can wait until just a bit later on. Sorry that the fanfiction has been down for so long (like you care -- like you're here even), but there's a metric fucktonne of it yet to reformat. I didn't realize that between all the series I've written in, I have more than sixty pieces all on my own. @.@ In any case, more next time; I'm all updated-out for the moment. I've been very busy liquidating all my sites down to three, and reposting most of the content on an as-yet-inaccessible portion of the site, to be unveiled when finished. It's a long, slow process, but I'm trying to get it done relatively quickly so that things aren't down for long. If you have any questions, or ever care, or anything of that sort, please let me know! Also, Chapter 14 does have a theme song now; I just didn't get around to it for a while. Thanks for being patient!

Happy (belated) New Year's! At least the crickets chirp for me once in a while. Chapter 14 of 'Changing Death' is up now, albeit without a chapter theme song as of yet (since I haven't gotten it uploaded). I'm thinking of scrapping this site altogether, as I've no real evidence that it ever gets visitors.... half of the counter on the main page is probably me, and who knows how many people bother to go to the rest of the places on the site? Certainly no one bothers to sign the guestbook anymore. Not to be emo, but I get the sense that I'm very alone here. Ah, well. C'est la vie.

I've finally gotten every chapter theme song up and running for 'Changing Death'. Apparently my computer won't run some of them; but that's because I don't have certain plugins. Probably if you've got the latest version of Windows Media Player (which I currently don't) it should work fine for you. Well, I've gotten supremely lazy and very much sick of doing double updates and double formatting. So I've taken down the inverted site mirror. I only had it up at the request of a single person, who (although I love her much) probably doesn't visit the site often enough to make it worth it. Other than that, I've fixed 'Changing Death', which I realized was the unfixed version with the continuity error.

I lied; I thought I'd posted Chapter 11 already. Well, folks, there's a whopping three new chapters on 'Changing Death'! *dances and throws soybeans* Also one more term added to the terms list. Also lied about the third planned video being a Hiei video; that'll be #4, since #3 is a companion vid to #1 and begs to be finished first. Working (actually) on TBD. No, really. Have merged 'Steel' with 'Changing Death', by the by, given that it's more or less the prologue anyway, and have serious plans to solicit fanfiction for posting. That is, to give myself yet more work that I won't get done (TBD eyes me reproachfully).

I've updated the terms list for my fanfics, which needed it desperately; I couldn't do it before because my primary internet connection at the school hates Angelfire and wouldn't let me. I also have two more chapters for CD that I'll be posting shortly, and the link to my new video (which is also done) will be up in a bit once my sister posts it where I can link to it. As a side note, Makai Nights should be back up sometime in January, as Kutebare and I are purchasing a new server and revamping the site for reopening. Hope you all visit and enjoy once it's available!

Another new chapter for 'Changing Death'! I'm so very chibi-happy! I spent yesterday and today updating both sides, so the chapter was up on the regular site yesterday, but the inverted site didn't get worked on until just now. Sorry about that. ^^; I'm trying to schedule updates to all get done at once, but it's not quite working so well. I have a laptop now, to further my fic-writing yayness, so Chapter 11 is immanent. As a side note, I'm still planning for the third AMV I make to be a Hiei video, but I thought I'd share that the second one is a video for Yuusuke and Kurama -- not a relationship vid, but one that I think will be awesome nonetheless. In any case, I ramble, so I'll depart now. Love you all!

In addition to the chapter update on 'Changing Death', I've added a small section to showcase my YYH AMVs. I've only got one done at the moment, and it's not a Hiei video, but I'm working on #2, and #3 will be a Hiei one for sure. So enjoy, and be patient until the Hiei glory appears.

Chapter 9 is posted now! *crazy dance* Chapter 10 is in the offing, although the writing process was greatly slowed due to some really stupid shenanigans perpetrated by my ex-girlfriend. As a result of these shenanigans, I no longer have a computer, and I don't know when I will again. In any case, I'm looking into putting more time into this site soon, so expect that to happen (I really hope it will). Toodles!

Oh. Holy. Shit. I've actually done it. There is another chapter done and posted for 'Changing Death'. Yippee! That, I think, is a more than satisfactory comeback after a long absence. It's so very glorious! Nothing new besides that, although I swear I'll eventually put up more of TBD. However, that's on hold, since I'm almost done with yet another chapter of CD; I wrote parts 8, 9, and 10 at pretty much the same time, so 9 just needs some tweaking. W00t!

Yay, back after an extended absence. Nothing more on TBD yet, but I've found a neato thing I can use to embed .mp3 and .wma files. As a result, 'Steel' now has a link you can follow to listen to the song I used, and all future songfics will also. In addition, the terms list has undergone a few minor updates. Glad to be back!

Yay! I finally have Hiei pictures!! You know, I was going through my picture collection, and I discovered that I have exponentially more Hiei/Kurama yaoi pictures than I have pictures of either of them alone. ^^; As well as Hiei/Yuusuke pictures.... In light of this, I've made a section for Hiei yaoi! Go have a look if you want to. You know you do. Also, I seem to have an overabundance of doujinshi covers, mostly from doujinshi I don't actually have. Maybe I should track them down. In any case, TBD will follow.

Yay!!!!! My computer returns!! It seems to be working fine now. I have also heard back from Makai Nights, who, it turns out, are not too annoyed with me, thankfully. ^^; As for the actual updating, I believe I mentioned the award they made for me which I had lost -- it is posted now. More on TBD is slated to be my next and (until I finish it) only update, except for occasionally posting pictures in the Other Stuff section (maybe).

I have a new quiz posted for you, and I hope you enjoy it. I also have added a new Affiliates section so I can pay some visible homage to Makai Nights. I would have the couples chart done, as well as maybe some pictures (finally) for the Misc. section, but my computer is broken. -_-;;; So I can't get to any of my files for the time being. Stoopid thing needs a new power supply or something like that -- something expensive and time-consuming to fix, of course. Ah, well. Not sure what will happen with Makai Nights. I e-mailed them but they have not e-mailed me back yet. Hopefully they do not hate me, but I'm not holding my breath. They gave me an award a while back that I lost on my stepdad's computer but just found a little bit ago, so I'll post that. I've posted a new fanart -- an old one, but one that I've been meaning to get scanned for about a year. I lied about the Javascript, at least for the moment; I'll see what I can do. Most of my time is going to have to be spent working out stuff with Makai Nights, since I went and got myself made a site partner there. *sigh* They probably don't like me much anymore. I keep not having internet and not getting stuff done. I wonder how long until I'm booted. I'll be starting school soon, which means I might do updating even less frequently, but I'll try to get around it. Also, I was given an award for this site!! *dances happily* Kurayami, the insanely kind one, gifted me with the award, which I will find a place to post. In fact, I may as well put it in the 'Other Stuff' section; that'll give that section some actual content and maybe I'll remember to fix it faster. In other news, I was right in the middle of posting a chapter of TBD about a week and a half ago when the computer cut out, so there's an unfinished chapter and a few unlogged chapters right now. Sorry about that; I haven't had access to the correct computer since then and haven't been able to rectify it. I shall fix it as soon as I can. And by the way, I did find a way to use the same poll for both sides, with different colors; the poll service is even nicer than I thought. Well, off to post my award! *squee*

I've posted one measly chapter of TBD, but that's because it's late and I'm too tired to post more and I have a nasty cramp in my right shoulder from sitting at the computer too long. I know I said I was pretty much done with this site, other than TBD and the Other Stuff section, but when I ran across what looked like an actual, reliable poll service, I had to sign up. So now there's a poll posted in each of the two site versions. It's essentially the same poll, but since the color schemes were so different I couldn't just use the same one for both sides. I'll have to average the results every so often and get an accurate picture of what people think. This is of course assuming people show up to this site, but I hold out hope. Pandora's box and all that. Well, I swear one of these days I'll remember to bring my images so I can put them up in the Other Stuff section. My problem is that my computer, where the images are stored and ogled frequently, does not have internet; the computer that I do updating on is about twenty minutes away across town. So I keep forgetting. Sorry. Well, should probably go to bed now.

Having found yet another errant broken link, I went through and checked every single one. There are officially no more bad links. They have all been punished (I mean fixed). The Other Stuff section is next; once that's done, this site will be officially "finished", meaning that it will not be updated except in the case of posting new content. That way I can move on to updating another of my sites, specifically one which needs a lot more work than this one. I'm pretty satisfied with my Hiei site, excepting the relative dearth of fanfic submissions; I hope you all are too!

I've fixed some missing links in both 'The Best Defense' and 'Changing Death', minorly revised a couple sections and a couple poems, and I'm in the lengthy process of making a second version to this site with a color scheme that's a little easier on the eyes. This is mostly for my Aunt, who didn't really like reading things in gray on a black background. When it's up I'll have a link to it on the title page so you can pick which version you prefer. Nothing else for the moment.

I fixed a broken link. What is it with FanFiction.Net authors removing perfectly good stories from their profiles without explanation? I did not know it had been done, and as a result I have no earthly idea how long the link was broken. Bleh. The link in question (a link to 'Love Conquers Sue', situated on the fanart page) has been redirected, in any case. More updating might follow; I'm going to wander through this site and make sure everything is in order. Might or might not work on posting more of TBD. **FOUR 1/2 HOURS LATER** Wow. What I meant to be a very, very short update has become quite extensive. I've added an FAQs section, fixed minor typos, and gone through rewriting my couple-labeling system. That should be the last update for a while, but I think I'll probably come back and fix the 'Other Stuff' section as soon as I have more to put in it. Until then, signing off.

More minor updating; I've decided to spell our favorite spirit detective's name the Japanese way (Yuusuke) since I use the Japanese spellings for everyong else, and so I've gone through and changed it every single place it appears (unless I've missed any). I've fixed a minor error on the firewalls, added to the disclaimer and just generally did everything I could think of with this site as it is since I have nothing new to post. I'm not getting submissions. AT ALL. I'm alone, bereft, ignored. Please, please, PLEASE submit something--fics, poems, rants, ANYTHING, I don't care. Without submissions this site can't be continued, and it will die. And now, after that pathetic ningen whining, I'm going to go solicit some work to post.

Not much new. I've been working on some more YYH writing, so hopefully I'll have some new stuff to post. I've also decided to go onto FanFiction.Net and beseech several of my favorite Hiei authors to let me post their fics. Expect some of that stuff soon! Also, I messed with the order of the links on the main page so that it looks more balanced.....yes, I made it look pretty, I'm so proud.....The checkbox on the firewall died (it never really worked properly) so it's gone. Let's see; I tinkered with the formatting of my Poetry Scrapbook, so you don't have to go through all the poems to get to the most recent one, and I've been trying to contact the author of 'To Love A Demon'. What little she said before she vanished off the face of the web was that she may not ever continue that fic--so sorry to those who like it, and expecially to The Almighty Elena, who graciously signed my guestbook and asked me when the fic would be updated. I wish I could help, but it's out of my hands. Eh, this update grows lengthy and tedious, especially since I haven't done very much, so I'll leave now. SEND ME FICS!!!

More minor updates; I've changed the firewall system to only include fics that are rated R or NC-17, as I realized it was ridiculous to have a firewall on my poetry just because some of it's H/K. Therefore, of all my fiction, only 'Steel' now has a firewall, with a slightly updated system that requires you to (gasp!) click on a checkbox to continue. Also, I may be adding minor Javascript codes to spice this page up a bit--did you like the one on the entry page? Huh? Didja? Nothing major, just cool visual stuff. Anyways, still awaiting more guestfics!

Yay! I got my first guestfic! I'm still in the process of formatting it for posting, but I wanted to update now because I tried to e-mail the author back and it didn't work. -_- I hate Hotmail. Anyways, it's called, 'To Love A Demon' and will be coming shortly!!! Oh, and also (since I forgot to do this earlier) I'm adding some new specifications for fics, just to make it easier for people to spot the fics that catch their interest. New categories will basically be limited to what pairings each fic contains. That way, if you absolutely loathe H/K, you'll be able to avoid it.

I've another chapter on 'Changing Death' and a few more poems put up now, but I'm still hoping for some guest fiction. Pretty please? *looks sad and lonely and chibi* I'm also hoping to get some work done on the under construction sections of this site, and I'm adding a fanart section as well, so those should be better soon. That'll only happen today if I have time before I have to go to work, but I'll try.
