Temporary Housing - Garbage sorting
In spite of efforts of the government to get people into new occupations, many people in the temporary housing continue to work as garbage pickers, picking through garbage and then sorting it out into recycleable sellable catagories such as metal, rubber, plastic, etc. YWAM is conducting schooling and education sponsorship programs so that the new generation can have knowledge and skills and so can escape from this cycle of poverty.
