YWAM's Nursery School (Daycare) has children up to 2 years old. The target group for this ministry is 2nd to 3rd degree malnourished children. Many of the children who enter the school are positive with TB. Besides the nutrition for the severe malnourished children, we focus on the spiritual needs of the workers and the children's parents. Their Bible study is being developed, so that now besides the mothers the fathers hear the Word of God and apply it to their lives.
In the past years God healed many children, and brought his love into their families. Still, the problem of these beautiful kids is urgent. As long as there is a dump site next to Temporary housing, there will be children who are sick. We want to reach out to more of these little ones and see their situation being improved.
You are invited to support the Day Care Center. We have seen our financial support decreasing. Though, we want to continue reaching out into the lives of the children and their families, and save them from starving. With a two-handed gospel, we can satisfy both the bodies and spirits of the hungry.
YWAM Preschool Ministry
The preschool is for children 4-5 years old. The school takes a Montessori type of approach with biblical curriculum. This helps prepare the children for formal schooling. At the moment due to restricted space we can only take 15-20 kids per class. Please pray for more workers, teachers and financial support.
