David had performed in several bands and wanted to involve himself fully into music. He was not satisfied with shopping demo tapes he and his friends created, so he decided to create his own record label. Damage Productions was founded in 1991 and from that point, he didn’t look back. He is the founder, owner, President and Chief Executive Officer of Damage Productions and is the first artist, INDIKATOR, from the record label, Damage Recordings. “I wanted to do music on my own terms” states Fuller. Being involved in music over sixteen years has given David great insight. Creating the music was something he felt compelled to control. “ Creative autonomy is very important to me and I didn’t want to make the kind of music that sounded like someone else’s music” asserts Fuller. “ I wanted to be my own man”. David has provided an outlet for his music and that of Damage Productions. In 1992, he was involved in an independent film called Eye Shocker Express, which aired on PBS. He has financed his EP release entitled The Vision in 1994. Others projects, released on Damage Recordings, which included Faces of Love by Robert Anthony and Livin’ Without You by Sean Carey followed in the same year. “We didn’t know much about marketing and promotion and felt the effects of that”. In the years that followed, Damage Productions has come into their own. From 1996 through 1998, Damage Recordings has been involved with several projects. In 1999, a movie soundtrack followed.“ We have been very fortunate in the past and we hope to continue in that respect”. He released his first single “Smooth As I...” in early 2000 and will be releasing his debut album , “And the Winner is...” in 2001. Be prepared. Can you manage the Damage ?
