11-20-2000 Last night, I went to the Anger Management Tour in Denver. And let me tell you, that shit was tight. First, Xzibit came out, his set was just flashing lights that said XZIBIT and a DJ on top of the set. He sounded really good and he did his verse from "what's the difference." He did some new shit like "X" and some other songs that I had never heard. His best song was Last Man Standing. Overall, Xzibit ripped it up. Before I went to the concert, I didn't really like his style, but now I know that I HAVE to buy his album (comes out December 12th). When Xzibit left, there was like 15 minutes before Papa Roach started playing, and like every chick took her top off. I have never seen so much female nudity in one place before. Security was even encouraging it. Anyway, Papa Roach came out next and they just plain sucked. I'm not really into his music but I couldn't understand a word of it until Last Resort, which was. . . OK. I'm not gonna talk about Papa Roach because I don't want to waste your time or mine. anyway, after like a 20 minute break, where more girls took off their shirts, everything went dark. they showed a movie that was like the Blair witch project, only these two guys were talking about going into the Eminem house. When they went in, they separated and the black guy went into the basement and finally into a room. On the wall it said "my name is" all over, then they showed where it said, "slim shady" on one wall, then it said "Marshall" on another wall, then it said "Mathers" and then finally, it said "kill you." The black guy ran upstairs and started looking for the white guy. After a while, he found the white guy tied up in a room, then Eminem popped out with a chainsaw and a Jason mask and cut the black guy and then the film stopped. the set was the same house that is on his album cover. Then Eminem came through a trap door with a chainsaw and his Jason mask. he dropped the chainsaw on the ground and started singing. I don't remember what he did first, but then he did two verses verse from "kill you." He did "the way I am," "Stan," and "criminal." then he left and they played another movie. it was called the "slim shady show" or something. I'm not gonna tell you about it, but it was hilarious and I think they said that you can find it at www.slimshadyshow.com or something. Then a new set was up and everybody thought Limp Bizkit was coming out. the set was a castle with torches on it. A trapdoor opened up and a guy was sitting in an electric chair and they started showing electricity, and then the guy broke out of the chair and started singing "these are the results of 1000 electric bolts. . ." Eminem asked his DJ to "tell them what my name is." the DJ played the song "my name is" Eminem stopped the DJ and said "tell them what my name is" the DJ played "my name is" again. Eminem got all serious and told the DJ not to do that again, but to "tell them what my name is." instead the DJ played nsuck or something. "Its tearing up my heart when I'm with you. . ." but Eminem sang "its tearing up my ass when I'm with you. . ." then he said that his name was Marshall Mathers and did that song. he did a few more songs and then Xzibit came out and they did "bitch please 2." During "Bitch please 2," Eminem even said "only nigger that I trust is me". That surprised me. then Eminem did "the real slim shady" and another song that I forgot and then he left. D12 also came out with Eminem and did a few songs. after a while, Limp Bizkit came out and did a bunch of songs, and they were tight, but I'm sure that not a lot of people on this site want to hear about Limp. they did shit with lasers and pyrotechnics. their set was very tight and they did their song with Xzibit. Overall, the concert was extremely phat and if it comes to your city, you should definitely check it out. FRED
