8-29-2000 Update #2 Alright SnoopDreEminem is back with another update, (Two New Tracks From DJ Muggs Soul Assassins Album) I added that Xzibit song that Mr. Bennz was talking about it's called "You Better Survive" and it features King T. There is also another track from that DJ Muggs Soul Assassins Album called "When The Pain Inflicts" it features Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, & Roscoe, this track is also dope as hell so make sure you download both. - SnoopDreEminem 8-29-2000 Bennz here with what will probably be my last update for a while due to my computer being fucked up. I'm sure everyone has heard of the violence at The Source Awards. Some sources closer to the action have said that the rumor that Dre was beat down by Death Row members is just that... a rumor. The only confirmed fight that broke out at the awards was between E 40 and Mack Minister. E 40 beat the shit out of Mack Minister when he snatched 40 Water's chain from off his neck, which brought the show to a complete stop. DJ Quik was arrested outside of the arena, some peeps posted some info on our message board about that, so if you wanna know more about that click on the link.- Mr. Bennz The Source Awards WILL air today on UPN. They finished taping the rest of the show without an audience later on in the week after the incident. Cube and Dre recieved Lifetime Acheivement awards for their contribution to Hip Hop music. Dre was the biggest winner at this year's show, winning Producer Of The Year, Solo Artist Of The Year, and Album Of The Year awards. Let me tell you, the show was off the heezy! The show was scheduled to start at 7:00 pm, but the performers were late and didn't get started until 8:00 pm. TQ was the first performer, the crowd wasn't really feeling his shit. He did the song he dedicated to 2pac, and that was the only time he got a reaction from the crowd. In between performances, comedian Alex Thomas did his routine, clowning on the audiences and the performers. By this time the whole arena was filled with Endo Smoke! I was feeling a buzz before my boys even passed me the weed. Shit was like we was hot boxin', and Thomas & Mack is NOT a small arena!- Mr. Bennz Warren G was the first MC to perform. The crowd was feeling his shit. But it wasn't until Eminem came out before everybody flipped. Em got the first big reaction of night. They started getting the girls in the crowd to take their top off and show their tits. Em dissed ICP using two blow up dolls, funny shit. Shit was tight.- Mr. Bennz After another stand up routine by Alex Thomas, they played the movie with Dre and Snoop. I won't give the whole thing away, but there is alot of female nudity... fine ass bitches. After Dre and Snoop shoot up a liquor store, Snoop asks the crowd if they should come out and "rock this muthafucka" the crowd is like "YEAH!" the lights come on, they have a liquor store scene sat up on stage, and as their leaving the store in the movie, they come out and start rocking the show.- Mr. Bennz Damn, the whole set was ridiculous! I'm sure yall heard of the shit they do, like the Eazy-E, Big Pun, Biggie Smalls, and 2pac dedication. That was tight! They also have a part where the Skull that's over the stage comes down and starts telling people to blaze the Chronic. DON'T trip on acid or magic at the show, cuz that Skull scene will turn your trip into a bad one, no doubt.Mr. Bennz Eminem introduces a new Aftermath artist, R&B singer The Truth. She comes out and sings a new song, but the crowd wasn't feeling that. Halfway thru her song, she switches to the hook off "Let Me Ride" and Dre, Snoop, and The D.O.C. drive out in a purple Impala smoking weed. Dre spits his lyrics while Snoop hit the switches. Tight shit.- Mr. Bennz They performed "Fuck You" with Devin, and the bitches in the crowd started getting freaky. A bitch next to me was giving lap dances and shit like that. Hittman replaced Kurupt and did a verse for "XXplosive" with 6'2". I thought that was strange since Kurupt was there and he performed some songs. When they performed "Ain't No Fun..." people was fucking in the crowd! Security was all around us, and they let us do anything we wanted to.- Mr. Bennz Ah man, I ain't gonna tell about the whole show... just know that it is tight as hell and yall CAN'T miss it. The only disapointment for me was that they didn't perform any N.W.A songs. I guess since Cube left the tour to shoot his movie, they won't be doing that shit from now on. At the Up In Smoke after party, Em and his crew brought in a bus load of groupie bitches and did some freaky shit with them in The Ra at The Luxor casino. Em had 6 bitches on him all night. Mighty Mi from the groups High & Mighty and Smut Peddlers was chilling at the party. If you didn't know, The Smut Peddlers consist of Mighty Mi, Mr. Eon, and Eminem's rival Cage. Mi said that the beef between Em and Cage was bullshit, and he is down with both of them. Also, Royce The 5'9" was seen chilling with Em at the after party, so now we know it's official that the beef was just a bullshit rumor.- Mr. Bennz Speaking of Royce The 5'9", he's been busy revamping his album. He left Tommy Boy Records and is heading for Interscope "to be with [his] boy [Eminem]", so he is re-recording songs he did while on Tommy Boy, and recording new ones. He also let it be known that the so called Greatest Hits album found at MP3 sites is FAKE. It is just some bootlegs of his Tommy Boy shit., the new album will come out late this year or in 2001 with brand new material. As of now he has not decided on a title for the album yet. Sticky Fingerz was almost signed to Aftermath, but apparently he got impatient like King T did with Aftermath and Warren G did with Death Row when their albums were pushed back. He's been buying 30 front row seats at all the Up In Smoke concerts just to mess with Dre and Snoop's heads. Also, he has supposedly been calling the offices of Interscope Records, making threats, in an attempt to keep Snoop from signing a new rap group to the label. Suge claims to be on his way out of prison, and wants to start a huge promotion campaign proclaiming the "Resurrection of Death Row" with a 4 CD set of music from the late 2pac Shakur. Suge is calling it "The Safe" and the CDs will come in a box shaped like a safe. - Mr. Bennz In an interview Suge said he likes Eminem, saying he's hilarious, but also criticizing the media for acting like it's ok for a white rapper to curse and talk about violence, while going off on all the black rappers doing the same thing. Also Suge said he only beefs with his equals, then contradicts himself saying Dre and Snoop are below him. He says Dre is trying to be white. He also says Dre is faking (of course), then says Dre is using the Death Row formula to rise back up to the top of the game. So... Death Row is trying to be white and are faking. Suge seems to be a very confused man. - Mr. Bennz One of Ice Cube's new movies "Ghost On Mars" has run into problems on the set lately. Courtney Love of the rock group Hole, who was set to co-star in the movie, has been kicked off the cast due to being a bitch.- Mr. Bennz One of Eminem's bodyguards is shopping a book about the MC that is supposed to expose Em as a womanizing, drug addicted, abusive asshole... just like Em says he is in all his songs! One thing that could hurt Em is that the book tells of a sexual relationship between him and a 15 year old girl. Everyone who can't make it to the show will now be able to check it out.- Mr. Bennz Dre told MTV that he will never play the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit because of the city censoring him. He was visibly upset during the interview. Dre is sueing Detroit, the police that were involved, and the mayor's Press Secretary for $25 million dollars.- Mr. Bennz Eminem was arrained Monday through the mail, not being able to make a court appearance due to his commitment to the Up In Smoke concert.- Mr. Bennz If you haven't heard yet, The Source Magazine will give both Dr. Dre and Ice Cube Lifetime Acheivement awards for their contribution to Hip Hop. Also Em went to court for the gun charges, and waived the premilinary hearing which means the case will definately go to trial. Despite all of this Slim maintains his # 1 position on the Billboard for the 6th straight week. features Dre and Snoop shooting up a liquor store, and the other is

because the police told him he would go to jail, and they would shut
the electricity off on stage. The police agreed to let Dre play an
hour later than is allowed in Detroit, because of noise ordinances, so

He was in the studio in L.A. with Xzibit and DJ Quik, and they were playing the Eazy-E track. Sermon explained that Eazy asked him to do a remix for Gangsta Beat 4 The Street and lay some of his vocals down back in 95, but after E died, the plans were postponed. After digging through some old DATs E-Dub re-discovered the original remix track, and decided to redo the remix for 2000. Props to Erick Sermon for serving this up. Now all we got to do is to try and get the original remix.- Mr. Bennz As you heard here FIRST at N.W.A2K, The Nutty Professor 2 soundtrack has a track with Eminem and Redman, "Off The Wall". The beat is average Erick Sermon/Rockwilder style, Redman flows well here, but Eminem starts to sound played out. I remember when he couldn't get a record deal on the West Coast, and had to move Down South and sign with Rap-A-Lot Records.
