Adam's Civic Page
I bought my '97 Honda Civic used in '98. Since then I have done a few things to it to improve on the way it looks and sounds. The first thing I did when I got it was to get the windows tinted. I went with 5% dark black limo tint on all windows and a 6" tint strip across the front winshield. I bought headlight covers to make the lights match the windows. I pinstriped the car with grey pinstriping and put a chrome exhaust cover on the exhaust pipe.
The factory audio in the car was not what I wanted so I have done quite a few things to enhance it. You can read about that in my car stereo section. I have encluded pictures also.
To protect all that I have put into my car, I have an Avital auto alarm system. My civic did not come with power door locks so I had power locks put in and tied in with my alarm. My alarm has keyless entry, starter disable, and Remote Start. Remote start is a really cool feature if you are lazy like me and don't want to go outside to warm up your car in the mornings. A simple press of two buttons and my car cranks itself.
A few more things to come in the near future include: Full catback big bore exhaust, Cold air intake, and possibly a spoiler.
