In this 3 hour, walk thru the daily life of DMX, you will be able to catch DMX with family, DMX walking the streets and interacting with fans, DMX in the studio, and DMX on stage. This five part DVD is packed with action and chronicles the life of DMX from the beginning of his recording career to the present. Part 1 -- Survival of the Illest "Survival of the Illest" is the first segment of the Angel DVD. Dating back to the year 1998, fans have an opportunity to travel with DMX and his fellow Def Jam labelmates on the infamous "Survival of the Illest" tour. DMX moves crowds with his rousing one man stage show while promoting his 1st album, "It's Dark and Hell is Hot". DMX gives fans his raw energy as well as an exclusive behind the scenes look at life on the road with one on one interviews.
Part 2 -- Tales of X "Tales of X" is a view of the 1999 Hard Knock Life Tour where the Ruff Ryder, Roc-A-Fella, and Murder Inc. camps along with Method Man and Redman collaborated to headline the most successful hip hop tour to date. Hitting over 54 cities, this segment of the DVD showcases DMX's impressive talent and gritty performances that have drawn his cult like following.
Part 3 -- Angel Angel is a mini movie that is actually a close reenactment of the road travelled by DMX as he came of age and developed into the hip hop superstar he is today. The ultimate hip hop rags to riches story - this segment focuses on DMX's rise to fame with a special guest appearance by Mary J. Blige as his guardian angel.
Part 4 -- One More Road to Cross "One More Road to Cross" is a never before seen look at DMX in his most coveted environment, the studio. Fans finally have the opportunity to witness DMX create his music from A to Z as he perfects his craft and records an album. Watchers become a part of the creative process and watch DMX relocate to the streets of Miami to record his highly successful 2nd album, "Flesh of My Flesh". X writes, records, freestyles, works with producers, etc. and puts all naysayers to rest - the man is the truth!
Part 5 -- Video The final segment of Angel is a montague of DMX's videos from his first album to date. Videos include the smashes "Get at me Dog", "Stop Being Greedy", "What's My Name", and the "Ruff Ryders Anthem". In this segment, DMX also shows us his commanding personality and what has helped elevate him to his superstar status through other smashes like "How's It Going Down", "What these Bit@#es Want", and "Party Up". Finally, the newest releases "We Right Here" and "Who We Be" are featured from the most recent release "The Great Depression".
