Backed by the legendary rhythm section for The Roots, this new
live cd
features tracks from THE BLUEPRINT as well as anthems from previous
releases. To add to his long list of accomplishments, Jay-Z now becomes
the 1st hip-hop artist ever to release an 'Unplugged' album. In
addition to the Roots band, the album also features guest appearances by
Mary J. Blige and Jaguar. The show, filmed at MTV studios is scheduled
to air Saturday December 8th on MTV2 and on MTV December 12th. The CD of
Jay-Z's legendary 'Unplugged' performance drops 12/18 on Roc-A-Fella
