Flare Guide: This is literally one of the hardest power moves in break dance..it takes balance..coordination...strength..and flexability...Step One)) stand up with your legs spread but with your left leg just a lil farther back that your right...now you need some good extention in your left leg for a nice sweep...what your going to do it try to sweep or "trip" your right leg....kind of like a backwards coffee grinder...as your doing that..put your left hand down and elevate your right hand so that its reaching for the sky...now as soon as your left leg reaches your right leg..your going to have to kick your right leg up..like...try to kick your face lol..sounds crazy..but try it..it helps to get that right leg nice and elevated so that is has potential power for the next swing.....now as soon as you have swept your right leg up..your left leg should still be in motion ..and both legs should be in front of you...you should then put your right hand down and lean back a little... your left leg should be hovering over the ground and should stay low..and then you raise it up and try to kick your left ear with it...and at the same time...try to keep that left leg elevated up high enough to allow your right leg to pass under..lean to the right also so that your left leg can get more elevation....then you want to swing your legs kind of back and set your left hand back down...use your hips ..torque instead of whipping them one by one...if done correctly..you can feel a burning sensation in yur groin/crotch area..because of the tensing and the torques.....im sory if this guide didnt help much...but its only because i AM still having trouble with the flare...but i almost have it down..thats why i dont know enough about it to write up a complete and detailed guide...BUT..i do have good news...go to http://www.breakersfusion.com/moves/flareg/flare.htm ...thats BBoy Sparkz's Ultimate guide to the Flare...its literally one of the best flare guides on the net..so please if you REALLY want to learn the flare..check that place out...its detailed...with demostrative photos that help ALOT...its where i learned.....but i WILL have this guide improved soon i hope...as soon as i get my cam....thanx....Peace All ( BY B-BOY SNAPSHOT)
