Dear Potential Sponsor,
E2K Magazine is a newly established publication Founded in 2001. This publication is a Community/Entertainment magazine serving all music lovers and communities around the world by appealing to their interest in every day life and experience in their society. Our target audience starts from 13 – 65 years of age. Our subscribers range from 14 – 55 years old. 51% are females, 49% are males. Latinos represent 45% of our readership, African Americans represent 35%, Caucasians 10% and 10% are Asians. E2K Magazine's mission is to provide our readers with information and insight on common critical social crisis transcending all socio economic boundaries. We intend to accomplish such tasks by bridging the gaps between various industries such as the entertainment industry with the urban communities to address everyday issues and topics. E2K Magazine's main focus is not people's wealth but their struggle to achieve their goals and to educate and balance perspective on society as a whole. We are determined to give back to our communities in every which way possible by giving them a chance to be heard and offering a helping hand. We are more than just a new publication, we are a new movement.
E2K Magazine Inc is organizing and facilitating the First Annual E2K “Kris Kringle “ Drive scheduled for Christmas Day, December 25th at three (3) different locations throughout the Bronx borough. We at E2K Magazine would like to extend an opportunity to you and your company to be part of this great endeavor. It begins with you; we can touch many lives with our unselfish actions. We can make a difference by working towards this common goal together. Our goal is to bring Christmas to underprivileged children and teens within the poverty stricken communities of the Bronx. Because there is no Santa Claus for these children we would like to step in and bring the real meaning of Christmas spirit to them by organizing something never done before. Our intentions are to go into these neighborhoods in a rented moving truck and distribute gifts at random to the residents and area children. We are proposing that various companies align with us and provide the toys, gift certificates, clothing, books, music cds and electronics or the monetary funds to purchase these items for distribution that day.
This holiday event will allow us to provide a beneficial service for people of all ages and cultures that make up our diverse community. We give back the idea of hope, unity and brotherhood thru this action. It starts by helping our immediate surroundings and injecting our society with humanity and compassion for others. I ask for you and your company to unite with us and support this positive movement and help make it an annual tradition. Your participation will not only intensify this day, but it will also make it a successful and momentous one.
We would be honored to have you as a sponsor for the first Annual E2K “Kris Kringle” Drive. I’m writing to you to request support of either monetary donations in the amount or about $300.00 dollars or any contributions that will make this holiday event a success.
We thank you in advance for your time and consideration, we look forward to hearing from you soon and a wait for the opportunity to embark on this journey together. Your response of sponsorship should be received by no later than December 11, 2002 to expedite the planning of the event.
Respectfully Yours,
Emma Z. Ramos
