When choosing a car many people look for a car with good performance and speed because they like driving their cars. Choosing between cars is hard and to be sure you get the speed, acceleration and power you should consider its power output(Horsepower), number of cylinders and the engines size(Liters).
By comparing the horsepower of 2 cars with equal weight and the same drive train you can figure out which car is faster and more powerful. If your comparing to vehicles with different weight but the same horsepower, the lighter vehicle will be faster than a heavier one. When figuring out an engine's strength(Torque) you incorporate two factors, the number of cylinders and its horsepower. A 8-cylinder engine with 160 horsepower will have more torque than a 6-cylinder engine with the same horsepower because of the larger number of liters in the bigger engine.
