Mrs. Peckenpaugh
Mrs. Peckenpaugh is one of our wonderful Spanish
teachers here at Burnaby South. She usually teaches
Spanish 10, 11 and 12. Spanish is her First Language
so she just loves to share, with her students, her
knowledge of the language and Hispanic culture. Even
though her Spanish is fluent she decided to make her
self sound even smarter, so she went to study Hispanic
literature and Spanish language at UBC and got her
Batchelor in Arts! She has traveled through Latin
America and all the way to Spain, so we can say that
she is pretty adventurous. During classes, she teaches
with a great deal of enthusiasm and never looses her
temper! She is always more than happy to help out during
class and outside class time. She is very
understanding and her students often feel they can
relate to her easily because of her young age and her
refreshing spirit.
